How can I access internet while outside my home through an electronic device?

Internet has become indispensable nowadays but we can’t take our PCs or laptops everywhere. So, there should be a small electronic device by means of which we can access internet. I understand such type of electronic instruments exist.

I have to set up the sewer and water on my land, and it will cost me about 4,000 dollars. Do most mobile home loan companies work with you on that? If not, where else can i get a loan for it?

Is the sewer and water to the site or at the roadway/etc? Yes basic connection is included but you might have to negotiate with someone else to get the utilities to the site where the trailer will sit.

Just ask the company what they provide. Are you paying anything down? If not you go into this completely upside down.

How reliable is the X10 signal in an older house?

I’m looking at a home automation kit, but am still deciding. Anyone know anyhint about how reliable X10 signals are?

X10 works great in my 30+ year old home.

My X10 modules became far more reliable when I installed a “Coupler Repeater” at the dryer outlet (link provided below). The Smarthome website does a great job explaining the “Coupler Repeater” and how it works.

When my X10 modules perform erratically – can usually be traced to a failing florescent light – typically in the garage. Failing Florescent light flicker with dark areas at the ends.

I’ve had much better success with the Leviton brand of X10 products. Typically priced a few dollars more – but far more reliable.

If I were starting all over – would choose the new INSTEON technology. INSTEON is a combination of X10 and RF signals for more reliable home automation.

Can I use my mac to connect to my home PC if they’re on different networks?

So, I know with the SMB command I can look at any shared drives that I have fairly easily–What I want to know is, how would I make this work when my mac laptop is on a different network than my home PC. Is it even possible?
Also, perhaps explain the how-to of Port Forwarding. I use an Apple Time Capsule.

It is possible if you have enabled your routers to forward the proper traffic to the proper computers. I believe 445 is the port to open and forward SMB traffic.

96 maxima heating problems?

today i bought a 96 maxima with 152000 miles on it. I test drove it a couple days in a row. Made sure everything was working right then wouldn’t you know it. I get home then drive it to the store and the temperature gauge is no longer working. It just stays at cold. The heater also does not work anymore and by that i mean it blows luke warm air. I dont know if these two are linked or what. Also the mirror adjustement stopped working. The radiator does turn on and off so i take it its just a sensor anybody have any idea whats wrong?

Check your antifreeze. If you are in extreme cold it might have jelled which would block the smaller rad pipes like those in your heater core. Fix your antifreeze and all might clear up with the exception of the mirror which might also be the victim also of extreme cold in another way. If you have access to heated parking downtown, go stick your car in that lot and amuse yourself in the library for half a day. Everything should thaw out and start working again. If that happens, you’ll have only proven MY theory because after all that you’ll still have to bring your antifreeze up to standard. The mirror, check your fuses.

How can I get my ps2 online to start working correctly?

I have had it work a long time ago in my college dorm, but now at home I plug the ethernet straight from my modem to my ps2, and it says the connection is fine, but when i get to the logon portion of the battlefield 2 game, it says: Connection Error. network error has occurred.
